Real Estate
There are often costs associated with the management or removal of hazardous materials on a property. We perform various types of environmental assessments on a property, including Phase I and II ESAs, and asbestos surveys. Our assessments can help stakeholders valuate a property based on the environmental conditions. We also oversee site remediation and abatement of hazardous materials, helping to reduce the environmental liabilities of a property.

General Contractors
Contractors performing repair and restoration of buildings impacted by fires, structural damages, water losses, and other types of losses, will often need an independent review of the extent of damages and recommendations for repairs. In Ontario, a building permit must be obtained from the local municipality to construct any new building over ten square meters, to make renovations or repairs, demolish, or add to a building. Our staff have prepared scopes of work for mould remediation at schools for various school boards in the Greater Toronto Area. Our staff have also performed Designated Substances Surveys in various government buildings throughout Ontario. We can provide asbestos management plans for buildings with asbestos-containing materials.

Contractors who perform hazardous materials abatement often need an independent review and summary of the work completed for their sites. We provide provide abatement contractors with:

inspection and clearance reports signed by a Environmental Engineer. Such verification reports can be sent to homeowners, insurance companies, etc. to demonstrate the abatement work was performed to industry or regulatory standards.
